Future of Cities Forum - Hambourg, 6th September 2013

The League project was successfully presented during the annual Future of Cities Forum. This year's the event took place in Hamburg, Germany.

This Forum brought together 150 mayors, city planners, scientists and representatives of civil society and the private sector to discuss key challenges for future urban development. 

Specifically, the LHAC was presented as an example of transforming cities with all citizens in a session about spatial planning/social inclusion/ investments in the urban economy and how Foundations can facilitate a regenerative city. It have also be showcased as a good example on what are the necessary structural changes and how to overcome limiting factors that prevent people with disabilities to enjoy tourism freely in Europe’s historical cities.
