    The League of Historical and Accessible Cities is a pilot project of the European Consortium of Foundations on Human Rights and Disability, which brings together foundations active in the field of disability or human rights interested in promoting the effective ratification and implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

  • Our organisation would like to join the LHAC. What are the requirements for being a member?

    To become an LHAC member you need to be a foundation interested in disability issues and willing to invest in accessibility projects.

  • Are any membership fees required?

    No participation fees are required to join the LHAC. However, a financial contribution is needed in order to provide specific services to members and to support the project’s activities. For instance, for the year 2012 each member is participating 8,000 € to cover, amongst other things, communication and promotion of the activities and the publication of a best practices guide.
